Further to my telephone conversation with Mr. Kyungtae Kuk, the following is the introductory piece on our firm. Simon Park, Lawyer Simon practices exclusively in the area of criminal law. Simon graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School. He became a lawyer to make a difference in the lives of others. He has represented clients in many areas of criminal law including assault, fraud, theft, robbery, drinking and driving and others. Before founding Park & Jung LLP, Simon had his own practice in the area of criminal law. He passionately represents his clients to achieve the best results. He understands the stress that someone going through criminal charges faces. Excellent client service and clear communication distinguish his approach to criminal law. Simon has been extensively involved in the community. He has spoken at numerous community events and been a leader in organizations that develop the leadership of young people. He is an ardent advocate of justice and empowering the voices of marginalized communities. Jikwon Jung, Lawyer Jikwon (“JK”) Jung is the founding partner of the firm. He focuses his practice on representing injured plaintiffs in personal injury litigation including car accidents, slip/ trip and fall, wrongful death, and serious personal injury incidents. Throughout his career, he has appeared at all levels of the Ontario Superior Court, as well as before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO). JK maintains an active presence within the Korean-Canadian community by volunteering at various community organizations and events, often in executive capacity. Since January 2010, together with his law partner Simon Park, JK is serving as legal counsel for the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Toronto. JK is fluent in Korean, both written and spoken.
